Start with a spectacular panoramic view of Göreme from Esentepe Hill, showcasing the fairy chimneys, rock formations, and cave houses spread across the valley and village.
Continue to Derinkuyu Underground City, one of the deepest and best-preserved underground cities in Cappadocia. Explore its network of stables, cellars, storage rooms, churches, and wineries carved deep underground (approx. 85 meters).
Proceed to Ihlara Valley, a 16 km long gorge lined on both sides with over a hundred rock-carved churches and dwellings. Enjoy a scenic walk through the valley.
Lunch will be served in Belisırma Village beside the river, offering traditional Turkish cuisine.
After lunch, visit Selime Monastery, an impressive rock-cut monastery built by Christian monks in the 13th century, famous for its large church and astonishing architecture.
